Julia Trofimova is a Paris-based textile artist with a background in fashion design. Her current work centers on large-scale, hand-tufted pieces that resemble contemporary yarn paintings. Blurring the lines between art, craft, and design, she draws inspiration from architecture and modernism to explore spatial rhythm and material contrast. Earlier works focused on themes of transition and movement, often combining image and text through diverse textile techniques.
